Sierra Dator, MSW, LCSW

Founder of Wise Girl Workshops

Hi there! I’m Sierra — and growing Wise Girls, youth, and parents is my passion.

At Wise Girl Workshops, we offer what every parent hopes to find in today’s complex world: meaningful support for their daughters and a path toward greater confidence, connection, and well-being.

Our workshops help girls and youth:

  • 🌟 Build self-esteem and confidence
  • 🌿 Reduce stress and anxiety
  • 💖 Cultivate a positive body image
  • 🧠 Learn problem-solving strategies
  • 📱 Understand technology’s impact
  • 🧘 Develop healthy coping skills
  • 🕺 Find joy in movement
  • 🥗 Enjoy nutrition for life
  • 🤝 Develop friendships rooted in authenticity and acceptance

What began as a heartfelt effort to support girls in my private therapy practice has evolved into a multi-faceted wellness and empowerment program for youth in grades 1–12 and their parents.

Our non-therapy workshops focus on building practical life skills and tools that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re a young person navigating the ups and downs of growing up or a parent seeking extra guidance, Wise Girl Workshops is here to walk alongside you.

Tina Parrish, NASM, Y-200

Certified Personal Trainer, Youth Exercise Specialist, Health Coach, and Yoga Teacher

Tina Parrish partners with Sierra to co-lead many of our workshops, bringing 20 years of expertise in fitness, nutrition, and youth empowerment.

Tina’s mission is to help girls live well through movement and mindful nutrition. She instills the belief that movement is for every body and encourages youth to move in ways they genuinely enjoy.

Tina takes a holistic approach to nutrition—focusing not on calorie counting or weight loss, but on helping girls understand the power of food as fuel and nourishment. Through fun, hands-on experiences, Tina introduces youth to a wide variety of foods, helping expand their perspective on what it means to eat well and live fully.

Together, Sierra and Tina create a dynamic and supportive environment where youth feel seen, capable, and inspired to thrive.
