Mom, daughter, dad, and son running for health

Health influencers are inspiring, motivational, and helpful for parents. They are all over Instagram and other social media platforms. These social media sites provide beautified glimpses into worlds emulating what we want more of. More so, this glimpse can be fuel for further motivation.

But maybe, like me, there are moments where your Social Media feed makes you feel less than enough. For this very reason, I recommend to start a social media cleanse. Sometimes that means scrolling quickly past posts to outright unfollowing. We want inspiring, motivational, and helpful health influencers for parents, not influencers creating insecurity and doubt.

If you feel negatively about what’s going on in your feed around health, I encourage you to start following influencers who add value to your life and Food Reset Goals. My favorites on Instagram include the following.

Helpful Health Influencers To Follow

  • @drmarkhyman (a doctor who promotes food as medicine)
  • @whole30recipes (endless meal ideas fueled by guest Posts)
  • @flavcity (Bobby Parrish breaks down what’s healthy in Walmart, Target, Trader Joe’s and even Dollar Tree)
  • @pickyeaterscorner (especially good for young ones!)

Keep a flood of positive information coming your way, from where to shop to meal ideas. Use health influencers in a way that empowers you. Because you want to feel good about yourself and the changes you want to make, be mindful of who you are following and how it makes you feel.

I’ve got more tips for parents of girls coming your way. I can’t wait to share them with you. Your learning curve has begun, so get ready to put a plan in place to help you and your family live your best lives. Because, as you know, you and your family are worth putting in the time, energy, and effort.
