While it’s normal for teens to be curious about sex, social media opens up a whole world where anything goes. Pornography is finger tips away, both peers and strangers of all ages send sexually explicit content, and It’s not uncommon for girls to feel pressure to “send nudes.” Girls need to learn about the sexual side of social media, which many are unprepared for when they first dive in. Parents have a responsibility to teach their daughters about all aspects of social media, including about sex and sexting. Knowledge is power, and girls need information from their parents about what is out there and how to handle it. In this video, parents will learn what they need to talk to their daughter about when it comes to sex and sexting whether your daughter is just starting with social media or has been with it for a long time.
